I wear this shirt on long runs and got it after recovering from an accident which led to a broken back and reconstructed shoulder (I needed some upper-body support). I really like the shirt and it reduced tension pain I had in my shoulders after running.
Watch the sizing, however. My measurements put me on the border between M and L. I ordered the L and it fits real tight (as designed) but absolutely doesn't go over my hips. It just rides up to the narrow part of my waist. Fine if you don't mind bearing your mid-section!
