This optic reflects a fundamental lack of quality control combined with poor materials. Within 3 weeks flecks of "crud" appeared when looking through the scope - either dirt of flakes of the coating used on the interior. In addition, the allen head screws used to attach the moung to the bottom of the scope are made of such poor quality metal that the allen head strips when trying to tighten the screws.

I ended up having to pay the shipping to ship the faulty product back for replacement.

The illuminated reticle is pretty good, but that doesn't overcone the other flaws. If I had it to do over again I would not purchase this item.
