It is true that many people have suffered severe quality deficiencies in their NcStar scopes, but I am not one of them, thankfully. Firstly, it is often noted that the lighted reticle is too bright for practical use. However, the Sniper Reticle is not so bad that the lighted reticle is useless. The red is fairly bright, and seems best if it is not completely dark. The green is quite useable in my opinion. It is a great feature and hopefully NcStar learns to adjust brightness levels to better satisfy consumers. If you are like me, and do not really care about a lighted reticle anyways, then it never mattered. I do my all my shooting during the day, and the standard black (unlit) reticle is perfectly fine.

As far as complaints about losing zero on the scope, that is likely legitimate, but it is entirely possible that is has more to do with mount stability than internal deficiencies. First, the two screws holding the scope to the mount were unbelievably tight, therefore not warranting loctite. This is good news for myself, but it is something to consider. The next is the quick release. Please use common sense in making sure it is sufficiently tight, but not so tight that it breaks. The trick is to put the scope on the rail, and put good pressure on the scope. If the scope slides along the rail, then it needs adjustment. If you take these things into consideration, your scope should be fine, at least mine has proven reliable, even after firing many M855 rounds through my rifle.

Lastly, there has been concern over the misalignment of the reticle. My scope is perfectly fine and I have not had to exercise my warranty rights. Remember, I have used my rifle already and shaken it quite a bit, and the scope remains fine. It is entirely possible that NcStar has resolved some of its quality issues, or that I am lucky. In either case, this scope receives five stars from me, because it is flawless, works great, and comes with great features, such as the bullet drop compensator, and lens covers.

Here is my ultimate opinion, for the price, this scope is worth the risk of potential quality issues (which we all hope NcStar has resolved). Hey, NcStar has a lifetime warranty, so it cannot be too bad.

Skorpion Quadline Strap-On Skates - Small Review

My 7.5 women's shoe just fits on the longest setting but the ankle strap would not fasten so I could not try them out. Other than that they seem great. That's why the 3 rating. I purchased this watch and the pin holding the case and band together literally fell to pieces within 3 months of normal, even somewhat gentle, wear. The watch claims to have a warranty of 3 years against manufacturing defects and when I contacted the company initially they told me that part was not under warranty and they would send me a replacement pin at no cost to repair myself. I didn't like it, but I took it. Less than 2 weeks later, it broke again, this time, more like shattered. The company keeps telling me they will fix the band as a courtesy even though they don't consider it under warranty. When I sent it to them, they then turned around and claimed damage to the case that wasn't there when I sent it and wants $69 to repair it. I'm currently arguing with them to either refund, exchange or repair it per their warranty. This company stinks to do business with. Too bad, it was pretty sitting in the box.

Well made. Can't complain about anything about this PFD other than it just didn't quite fit my husband. But "fit" is a personal thing and I'm sure for someone else it might just fit "like a glove". We ended up sending it back. (it was a tad bit too snug ... my husband is 5'11" and about 215 pounds and ordered the Large/XL size ... just to give you an idea). He could have made it work but he found a different one that just felt a little better so he kept that one instead. Again, no complaints about the quality or construction, though.
