WTB Rocket V Team Ti Saddle (White) Review
When you find a seat that fits you, don't mess with perfection. I use ONLY Rocket V saddles on my bikes and when I bought a beautiful new white carbon road bike, it seemed a shame to mess up the color scheme with the black seat from my old bike.At first, I didn't quite catch the "gloss" finish in the product color description. I thought it was just a different seller describing the color differently.
Well this seat is definitely different.
#1: It is less expensive than it's brethren: $100 for the black, $90 for the white & $70 for the gloss white.
#2: It is heavier than expected by a few grams. Advertised on that Amazon site at 225g, it was 229g on my scale (compared to 217g for my 4yr old black version)
#3: It is GLOSSY, covered with a gloss plastic layer. Excellent for keeping the white seat clean & free of grease stains, for that reason coupled with the low price, I'm happy with my purchase.
My biggest worry is that it would be slippery when riding. So far on the few rides I've taken, that has not been an issue.
