I bought this for our 2 year old son 2 summers ago. He loved it right away even though he just walked above the seat, didn't even sit on it at first. When he was 3 he started to learn to glide and could get some of the balance. He especially loved that he could "ride his bike". He turned 4 right at the beginning of this summer and this bike has become his favorite thing to do. He goes like crazy on this bike and loves it! It absolutely has helped him learn to ride his other peddle bikes without training wheels! Would recommend to anyone with the patience to let the kid determine how they want to use the bike, they'll grow into loving it!
