I really want to like this sight but decided to get rid of it.

I went target shooting with it today and we had a nice sunny day...I had this unit at the brightest setting and it was insufficient to contrast against the target. I could not really see the red dot.

The other reason I don't like this is not specific to this sight but as a statement against single pin sights in general. This is my first single pin sight and really wanted to like this. Here's my problem with single pin sights.

1) You need to adjust your sight/tweak it during a hunt...game are not going to just sit there as you fiddle with your sight. Any movement you make add to the possibility to spooking the game.

2) Your movement of the pin against the yardage line is subject to human parallax error. It is never exactly precise. This means that when you zero your range at 30 yard may not be the EXACT same point the next time you dial in that 30 yard line in the field. This will lead to you shooting too high/low and may not end up hitting your target in their kill zone.

3) I've lost an arrow because I forgot to tighten the screws to lock in the yardage line and the sight slipped. While this is a user error...you would not have this problem with a multi-pin system.

Other than that, the unit is well made and sturdy.
