I purchased this scope for a Rugar 10/22 build I was doing in jan, 2012. I have only owned one BSA product before this with just ok results(SKS w/red dot scope 06'). I spent $20 more on this than I had In my build budget but Im super glad that I did. 1st off, The scope comes in a black aluminum box that works great as an ammo box for my .22's. 2nd, the scope has a nice rugged build/look design wise. 3rd, Pull/push adjustment work like a top dollar product. 4th, has outstanding Lens clairity at this price. 5th, the mil-dot retical is unbeliveibly accurate while judging wind/drop. 6th, Everyone I let shoot my new 10/22 build wants to, or has purchased it. Keep in mind that I have only owned this for 3-1/2 months so I cant give an opinion on longevity+yearly weather abilities.I do have 2 negitives on this scope. 1st, the adjustment knobs are abit tall and got in the way of my .22 charging handle before I extended it. 2nd, since it has its own blinders built in, the rear blinder adjustment is so closed to the focus adjustment they sometimes can be a pain. Not a complaint for me but a lookout. This is a Big 3-9x40 scope. Just barley fit my 10/22 before touching the stock barrel while using a stock mounting bracket. All in all, I love it,I recommend it to any budget shooter, Has great features and visibility, I shoot 500-1000 .22 rounds weekly w/it,and I have purchased 2 more. Even got two marksmen a my local shooting range to get one after shooting w/it. Next 2 are replacing my old HMR17 and 22-250 scopes.
