The Super Drive XL has been designed with the new XL CNC machined aluminum body, MOR Optics and Constant Current power management drive the LED at a steady 500 lumens. The Infinite Light design allows the user to replace the Li-ion battery on demand. The Side Visibility Cuts increase visibility from the side. The Intelligent Power Indicator button allows the user to check the power level anytime. Users can choose between Standard and Race modes to optimize the use of power for any occasion. The Super Drive XL comes with Composite Matrix handlebar mounts (25.4mm and 31.8mm) and 2 rubber shims. It is also available as part of a Fully Loaded package with a Composite Matrix helmet mount and a spare battery.

I own a bunch of lezyne products (rhymes with devine, by the way), and am a big fan of the company. This light throws a lot of light, was a good value for the money, and is nice and compact. I love the fact that it charges off of USB, and uses standard 18650 batteries.

Why three stars? There were minor tool marks on the case, which shows that lezyne's qc is slipping a bit. And you have to fiddle to ensure that you can screw on the rear cap without cross-threading it. Those two flaws cheapened up the experience.

I did call their customer support line, and talked to a very nice human being. I sent a picture of the tool marks, and I volunteered that they were in fact minor. Lezyne didn't think the flaw rose to a level requiring replacement -- and I agreed. Would I buy the light again? Honestly, I might, but I'd shop around a bit more. I bought this one because of my fantastic experience with other lezyne products. Knowing what I know now, there might be better lights out there.
