Light and Motion Solite 150 Headlamp Review

As a bicycle light, it's good for commuting but not enough for riding on dark trails. The mounting is creative and by separating the lamp from the battery I have a lot more options. I have a Brompton folding bicycle, and if you know Brompton you know it leaves no space for anything. I mounted the unit on the neck stem, and the lamp base on the neck/handlebar joint. When I need the light I take the lamp and put it on the handlebar. Because the lamp only tilts one way, make sure you mount the base in the direction which the lamp can be tilted downward and not upward.

Headband seems solid although I haven't tried it yet. I have not stress-tested the battery life either.
