Just received the Stuhrling Watersports Regatta Grand II Swiss quartz Diver today and I must say I was stunned. Upon opening the extremely well packaged watch by Stuhrling I was in awe of how beautiful this timepiece looked. The quality of craftsmanship and materials that were used can be compared to watches costing many many times more.
The photos posted here on the Amazon site show the watch in a good light, but do not even come close to giving it the justice it deserves. The watch is large and heavy, the SS bracelet is massive at 24mm wide and made long enough to fit just about anyone's wrist. I have average sized wrists and had to remove 4 links, so even if your a big beefy boy with large wrists it should be no problem for a good fit.
The cyclops is centered perfectly over the date and really helps to view it much more easily. The numbers on the face are large so it's very easy to tell time at just a glance and all numbers, hour and minute hands along with a large white dot at the top of the coin bezel that rotates glow in the dark.
The black face and bezel make a great contrast with the orange inner ring inside the crystal and the second hand is also orange which looks great moving across the black face of the watch. Also the crystal is a synthetic Sapphire which is also found on much more expensive models.
This watch is unbelievable for the price and I could not be more pleased. To be totally fair I haven't had it long enough to comment on it's accuracy and water resistance, but I have purchased a Stuhrling watch as a gift for my wife about 6 months ago and hers runs beautiful, keeps perfect time and is very water resistant. She loves it !
So with that in mind and after seeing this watch in person I am very confident in the quality and craftsmanship of Stuhrling.
