Mountainsmith Mayhem 35 Recycled All Terrain Backpack, Pinon Green Review

This is a very good all around daypack. However, myself being a long-time external frame fan, I wouldn't recommend dependence on this item for more than three days of backpacking. At its max it can hold the necessities for 2-3 days with no contact. The internal frame works well at redistributing the weight to your legs. It's a simple aluminum, "X" frame and can be adjusted to your height.

I've only used mine once on a backpacking trip at the Grand Canyon. It was perfect for the two days that we were there. I packed into it all the food, snacks, clothing,a pot, and some of the water that we needed. The rest of the equipment/necessities was split between others in our party.

As far as the material; I can't say that its durable since I've only taken in on one trip but honestly it feels pretty sturdy. I know that mine took some abuse on the trip but it still looks brand new. The all-around mesh is water proof I believe.
