Yamaha G14/G16/G19/G22 Golf Cart Headlight - Light Kit Review

I bought this light kit as a Christmas present for my girlfriends 1999 Yamaha G-16 golf cart that she bought for her camp. The cart came with fog lights mounted up on the hood and this light kit made a huge improvement. The quality of the materials are very good for the $95 price tag. The kit comes with the headlight / marker light assembly for the front and tail lights for the back, wiring harness, mounting rivets and the patterns needed to cut the holes into the cart body for the installation. The cuts can be made with a Dremel tool. When cutting the holes for the front lights each side requires a large hole for the headlight and a small hole for the marker light even though they are on the same assembly. I would recommend cutting a small slot connecting the 2 holes. This will allow the assembly to go in without having to cut the wires and then reconnect them behind the body after installation. The front orange marker lights can be used as turn signals if you have a turn signal kit (a separate piece of equipment) but the tail lights don't work as turn signals. If you are good with your hands these are fairly easy to install and they look great. My girlfriend also had her brother in law do a custom paint job for her and I built a wooden box that I mounted to the roof that has a cd player, 2 six inch speakers and a dome light so her cart is officially pimped.
