I just received this from Amazon. Shipping was prompt as promised. I haven't used the flashlight at this stage as it is charging for a full 24 hrs before first use as recommended by Maglite. Owning a number of Maglites in the past I am confident that the quality will be good.

I travel regularly outside the USA and thus needed to be able to charge this at 220-240v. The charger shipped with this kit is rated 100-240v and not 120v only as specified in this description. Because of this description error I purchased a step down (220-110v) transformer for use with this product which was totally unnecessary. Hopefully Amazon will take the transformer back and issue a full refund !!
