St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinning Rods Model: MBS70MF (7' 0", M) Review
I purchased the 7' Medium Fast Mojo, and paired it with a Pflueger Supreme XT. This combo has been great for me. The rod is lightweight, but has good backbone for just a medium action rod. It is tip heavy, but the overall combo is so light it does not seem to be an issue. The sensitivity of this rod is excellent for it's price range. I have no problem feeling every little pebble dragging a tube along the bottom. This rod will cast anything from 1/8 ounce up to 3/4 of an ounce pretty well, but excels in the 1/4-1/2 ounce range. In other reviews some have complained about the reel seat loosening. I can tell you that after a dozen casts or so, the "screw" does seem to be very slightly loose, however the reel is still held firmly in place. I just tighten it whatever it has loosened (which is just a fraction of a turn), and it has never caused any issues. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinning Rods Model: MBS70MF (7' 0", M)" are high quality item.
